Seeking a self-motivated individual with a strong electrical and mechanical background to oversee equipment startups, repairs and modifications primarily in the field. Approximately 20%-40% of the time will be in the field, which requires travel (some internationally). The balance of the time will be working on equipment, wiring control panels on site at Machine Concepts, programming and debugging equipment, providing phone support to customers, designing electrical controls, supporting the engineering department and miscellaneous office tasks required for the service department.
Skills required: knowledge of PLC code, programming, basic computer skills, and ability to read and understand electrical prints, knowledge of National Electric Code, NFPA 70 and UL ratings. Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and basic mechanics. Associate degree or a minimum of three years of experience is required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
