G2 Precision Straightener

G2 family of straighteners have been designed for lighter gauges (.005" to .100") and normally higher speed applications (100 to 400 FPM). Easy quick removal of roll cassette with inter-changeable roll cassettes with different roll diameters within the same base frame.

  • Speed control package provides stable accurate loop control when straightener is feeding material into a loop.
  • Motorized entry and exit adjustment incorporates pushbutton control entry and exit roll position with PLC controlled travel and tilt limits.
  • High-speed option provides an increase in speed to 4,000 inches/min, without loss of machine performance capacity.
  • Entry edge guide provides material guidance on the entry side of the straightener.
  • Powered pinch roll aids in the threading of material into the straightener and extends the life of the work rolls.
  • Chrome work rolls layer of hard chrome that helps reduce material pick-up and marking of the rolls.
  • End of strip sensor indicates the presence of strip and turns off the ready to run signal to the press when the strip is not present.
  • Powered pull roll adds tension to the strip to allow the machine to obtain flatter strip in thin-high strength materials.
