Slitter Setup Robots
Slitter setup robots by NLT Automation revolutionize the slitting process by providing fully automated, precise, and efficient setups for slitting lines. Designed to handle the complex and time-consuming task of changing slitter tooling, these robots automate the entire setup process, including the removal and placement of knives, spacers, and rubber rings.

Separator Systems
NLT’s separator systems are firmly installed in the slitting line instead of the manual separator shafts. The conventional manual tool store and separator shafts are, therefore, unnecessary. With the changeover to NLT automation, the existing roller basket is completely replaced and extendable separator shafts are installed.
By automating the separation process, the system reduces the need for manual intervention, enhances safety and maintains consistent product quality.
Automatic Separator Systems
NLT’s automatic separator system utilizes pneumatic spreading shafts for precise separation of slit strips. Separating discs are accurately positioned using a two-finger gripper and then securely fixed by expanding the pneumatic shaft. NLT offers the flexibility to integrate this automated separator into existing slitting lines as a turnkey solution or supply it as a mechanical component to cutting line manufacturers.
Each system is custom-built to meet specific customer requirements and technical demands. The spreading shaft is carefully sized based on the thickness and tension of the material, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for a wide range of slitting applications.
